Abstract

This study aimed to test the influence of the quality of education services consisting of (1) the curriculum (2) teachers and (3) facilities (4) management of education (5) the cost of education (6) responsiveness and (7) access to facilities.The population in this study were students of class X and XI in SMA MTA Surakarta totaling 600 students. The sample in this study were 1 students were selected by random sampling technique sratified proportionate. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive design. The data collection techniques implemented with a questionnaire to determine the level of influence the quality of educational services to the student satisfaction. Analysis of data using multiple regression techniques. The results of the study are as follows: the calculation results obtained using the F test probability value in the column Sig is 0,000, the value is less than 0.05. Ho then be rejected, which means a significant difference between the variable quality of educational services to the satisfaction of high school students MTA Surakarta (Y) simultaneously.The result of the calculation using t-test probability values obtained from the seventh variable is less than 0.05 and the value of t is greater than t table then can thus be concluded that Ho rejected, which means a significant difference between the variable quality of educational services to the satisfaction of high school students MTA Surakarta (Y) partially. Abstract

The purposes of this study are to figure out (1) the effect of transformational leadership headmasters and motivation to work on the performance of teachers in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta, (2) the effect of work motivation on teacher performance in SMA Al Islam 1 2016, and ( 3) the effect of transformational leadership style of headmasters on teacher performance in SMA Al-Islam 1Surakarta.The population in this study are all teachers who teach in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. The  sampling  technique  used  is  convenience  sample  is  all  population  research sample. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The collection of data carried out by engineering a questionnaire to find out the data related to the headmaster's transformational leadership and motivation. Try out done on 30 respondents outside the sample, in this study try out to do in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta with the results of the questionnaire for teachers 32 items about the declared valid and reliable of 35 questions given, whereas in the questionnaire for school headmasters  across  an  item  about  (  20  questions)  declared  to  have  valid  and reliable. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, there is positive and significant correlation between transformational leadership style of headmasters and motivation to work simultaneously on student learning outcomes. Second, Ho is accepted and Ha rejected meaning, there are significant positive and significant correlation between transformational leadership style of the headmaster and motivation. Third, there are significant positive and significant correlation between transformational leadership style of the headmaster and motivation, it can be concluded if either school infrastructure, student learning outcomes can be increased, and vice versa. Based on data from the results of this study concluded that transformational leadership style variable (X1) gives a greater influence on teacher performance compared to variable work motivation (X2.)

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the influencing factors of the students’ interest to be a volunteers in education field at Solo Mengajar. Besides, this research is also aimed to find out the difference between functional motivation of men and women. This research belongs to quantitative research with sample survey as the method to conduct the research. The sampling methods used in this research are proportionate random sampling and simple random sampling with lottery. The data analysis technique is Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the results of this study concluded that the functional motivation positive and significant effect on the interests of students to volunteer education in Solo Mengajar. Conclusions further explain the moderating effects of gender. The results of the t-statistic analysis showed that gender had a significant result on understanding motivation and protective.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes Marketing Strategies students of class X Marketing 1 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta 2015/2016 academic year through a collaborative learning model with quantum teaching strategies. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The subject of the research is the students at class X Marketing 1 SMK N 6 Surakarta totaling 30 students. The techniques of collecting the data are through observation, interview and documentations. The data validity used to the sources of trianggulation technique. The data analysis technique used quantitative data analysis, qualitative and comparative descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis a significant improvement of learning outcomes from the result pre-cycle learning to the first cycle to the second cycle. It can be seen at the end of the learning outcomes of students the percentage of completeness 46.67% or 14 students. In the first cycle learning outcomes of students increased by 70% or 21 students. Then on the second cycle increased again at the end of the students' learning outcomes be 86.67% or 26 students. The conclusion of the research through a model of collaborative learning with strategies quantum teaching to improve learning outcomes Marketing Strategy subject matter in class X Marketing 1 at state Vocational High School 6 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effort of implementation cooperative learning Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) to improve economic learning activity at second grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom In Academic Year 2014/2015. The research model is Classrom Action Research. The researcher took the class of X.IIS.3 SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom in academic years of 2014/2015 as the subject for this research, whih consist of 26 students. The technique for collecting the data was: (a) observasion, (b) test, (c) interview, and (d) documentations. The procedure pf the research was: (a) planning, (b) planning, (c) observation, and (d) reflection. The research was conducted by two cycles, where each cycle carried out in three meeting, each meeting was conducted in 2x45 minutes. The conclusion of this study were: (1) learning activity has increased from 1st cycle to 2nd cycle. It can be revealed that Oral Activites has increased 11,54% from 73,07% initially to 84,61%, Listening Activities has increased 9,63% from 80,76 % initially to 90,38%, Writing Activities has increased 13,47% from 80,76% initially to 94,23%, Mental Activities has increased 17,28% from 69,23% initially to 84,61%, Emotional Activities has increased 19,31% from 78,84% initially to 96,15%. (2) from the result as learning score has increased 5,38% from 77,69% to 83,07% in 1st cycle to 2nd cycle.

Abstract

Science and Technology for Society (IbM) is conducted on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) named Cor Logam Buana Jaya and Cor Metal Kalinda Iron. The two SMEs are located in Ngawonggo Village, Kecamatan Ceper, Klaten Regency. The first SMEs, Cor Logam Buana Jaya produces art casting (indoor and outdoor furniture) in the form of metal products such as ornaments or decoration products, while the second, Cor Metal Kalinda Iron produces the machinery spare parts products (technical goods) that are various products of machining and automotive spare parts. This activity aims to improve the quality of metal production and welding techniques, as well as improve the quality of bookkeeping and management in both partner SMEs. The method used in this activity is a participatory training and supervision method. Based on the evaluation results, this training has a positive impact on the development of participants' skills and SMEs operation. It is proved that the participants are able to understand the material presented, able to know and overcome the problems that have been faced, and able to practice welding technique on stainless metal and financial management on SMEs much better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the presence or absence of (1) the influence of financial literacy on consumer behavior konsumtif SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar; (2) the influence of self-control on consumptive behavior of Muhammadiyah SMA 1 Karanganyar students; This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research with correlational method. The population in this study is all students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar as many as 1180 students consisting of classes X and XI. The sample in this study amounted to 93 students taken with proportional sampling technique stratified random sampling. Methods of collecting data in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used is structural equational modeling (SEM) analysis technique. The results of this study show (1) Financial literacy has a coefficient beta -0.486 and has a t-value of 1.726> 1.66. These results indicate that literacy has a negative and significant relationship direction. (2) Self-control has a beta coefficient of 1.087 and has a t-value of 3.478> 1.66. These results indicate that self-control has a positive and significant relationship direction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes of student in economic lesson at class XI IIS 1 of Senior High School 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016 with the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.The type of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is students at XI IIS 1 of Senior High School 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016 with 31 students. The data sources are from the teacher and students. The technique of data collection used are, (a) observation, (b) interview, (c) documentation, and (d) test. Validity of data used is triangulation resources and method. Comparative statistic analysis, analysis of quantitative data, and analysis of qualitative data is used for analyzing the data. The procedures of this research are (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, and (d) reflection.Based on the research results, the learning process with the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning outcomes of  students. It was proven in the cycle I that students learning outcomes were increased 4,07 (average score of pre cycle 72,90 and average score of the cycle I  76,97) and percentage of minimal prerequisite score is increased 9,67% (percentage of pre cycle 61,29% and cycle I 70,96%). On the cycle II, students’ learning outcomes on cycle II also increased 6,68 (average score of cycle I 76,97 and average score of the cycle II 83,65) and percentage of minimal prerequisite score increased 16,13% (percentage of cycle I 70,96% and cycle II 87,09%).The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase learning  outcomes of student  in  Economic  lesson  at  XI  IIS  1  of  Senior  High  School  5 Surakarta, in the academic year of 2015/2016.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the simultaneous effect of the teacher’s competency and the students’ achievement motivation on the learning achievement in Marketing Business Management subject matter; (2) the effect of the teacher’s on the learning achievement in Marketing Business Management subject matter; and (3) the effect of the students’ achievement motivation on the learning achievement in Marketing Business Management subject matter of the students in Grade X PM of State Vocational High School 1 of Karanganyar in Academic Year 2015/2016.This research used the quantitative method with the associative causal approach. Its population was all of the students in Grade X PM of State Vocational High School 1 of Karanganyar. The samples of research were determined by using the total sampling technique. Its data were collected through questionnaire, documentation, observation and interview techniques. The data were analyzed by using the multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test at the significance level of 0.05.The results of research are as follows. Firstly, the teacher’s competency and the students’ achievement motivation have a simultaneously positive effect as much as 39.7% on the learning achievement in the Marketing Business Management as indicated by the value of Fab= 24.37 which was greater than that of F0.05;2;69= 3.130. Secondly, the students’ achievement motivation has a positive effect as much as 7.34% on the learning achievement in the Marketing Business Management as pointed out by the value of ta= 2.343 which was greater than that of t0.05;1;71= 1.667. Finally, the students’ achievement motivation has a positive effect as much as 32.26% on the learning achievement in the Marketing Business Management as indicated by the value of tb= 5.732 which was greater than that of t0.05; 1;71= 1.667.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determinethe suitability level of service quality performanceat SMK Batik 1which includes tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy simultaneously and partially.This study uses survey research methods. The study population was SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. Samples were taken by proportional random technique. The research data obtained by questionnaire. The validity of the data carried by the internal validity. Analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).The conclusion of this study were: 1) the satisfaction of students is lower than the quality of service in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. 2) The high level of expectation of students on the performance of services seen from the dimensions of service quality has been determined, indicating that the level of expectation of students on a quality service at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta is quite important. 3) The low level of performance of service quality as seen from the dimensions of service quality has been determined show that the level of quality of service performance in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta is unsatisfactory students. 4) 30 indicators that are analized then there are 6 indicators included in the quadrant A, which is the main priority, 10 indicators are included in quadrantgB (performance and expevtation was based), who fall into quadrant C there are 7 indicators (low priority), 7 indicators included in quadrant D (be overestimated by students)
